Nicole Haldoupis is a queer writer, editor, designer, illustrator, and rug hooker from Tkaronto/Toronto. She’s the managing editor at Breakwater Books, a former editor of Grain, and a co-creator of untethered and Applebeard Editions. Her work can be found in Bad Dog Review, The Feathertale Review, Bad Nudes, antilang, and others. She completed an MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan in 2016 and is currently working towards an MA in English at Memorial University. Her first book, Tiny Ruins (Radiant Press, 2020), was shortlisted for four 2021 Saskatchewan Book Awards and the 2022 Association of Italian-Canadian Writers (AICW) Bressani Literary Prize. Nicole lives in St. John’s, Ktaqmkuk/Newfoundland.

Open mic signup at the event. There are six five-minute slots available on a first come, first serve basis.

Doors open at 6:30, and the event will start promptly at 7:00.

Large tables (3-6 people) should be booked ahead of time on Eventbrite. Eventbrite sales end at noon on the day of the show; walk-ins may be available after that - please call 709-722-9167 to confirm. Masks are optional, but please stay home if you are feeling unwell.
