About this Event

Why do we think that using native plants means a sacrifice in beauty? It does not! Sean will discuss the best native plants to use in your gardens for stunning results, as well as best locations, ideas for difficult soils and situations. Adding native plants to your garden is one of the best ways to help the pollinators and birds.

Speaker Bio:

Named by GardenMaking magazine as one of "20 Making a Difference", gardening has been Sean James' hobby and profession for over 35 years. A graduate of Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, a Master Gardener, writer, and teacher, Sean focuses on eco-gardening techniques, speaking from the Maritimes to Seattle and landscaped from Nova Scotia to California.
