About this event
Don’t be afraid of the dark, the nocturnal creatures sure aren’t! Hoo-hoo-hoo is in that tree? Come explore nature at night with The Riverwood Conservancy and learn about your nocturnal neighbours, including the sights and sounds you may not normally experience in the daytime.
The walk is facilitated by Riverwood Conservancy in collaboration with PEYA of Ecosource. We will meet at the main parking lot at Riverwood.
Important Information
Feel free to bring a flashlight or headlamp, we may ask for you to turn it off at points. We have red light flashlights for viewing of wildlife, to not disrupt their habits or eyesight.
Dress for the weather. This is a rain, snow, or shine event unless severe weather is in the forecast. Consider bringing good winter boots, crampons/boot spikes, and/or a walking stick.
