The town of Westport, situated on Big Rideau Lake, is small and quaint with lots of character, a pretty waterfront and a number of great small shops. There is lots to do in and around Westport. There is a lovely 9 hole golf course, Evergreen, which is in excellent shape and very picturesque. http://www.evergreengolfcourse.com/

The Scheuermann Vineyard and Winery is a short 4 minute drive, or a 21 minute walk from the Cove Inn. We have organized a wine tasting and lunch there on Saturday from 11 am to 1:30 pm. It will be outdoors with a tent that can accommodate 40 people. Lunch is approx $30 per person, beverages extra. The Cove Inn has been chosen for our class reunion, but there are several attractive B&B’s very close by that can accommodate us as well. All are within a very easy walk of the Cove Inn.

The Inn has a lovely patio and deck area with a waterfront view and attractive grounds. One of the bonus features of this place is the bar/lounge with live entertainment. If the weather is good, the band may play outside by the water.

In addition to their restaurant, they have a dining hall that seats up to 100 people where we will have our Saturday dinner. This will incude a starter salad, three choices for main (including meat, vegetarian and vegan options) and dessert. The cost will be approx. $80 + HST + Gratuity per person to cover dinner and the band – we have requested Rock ‘n Roll for dancing!
