National Nursing Assessment Service
Annual Conference 2016! We are a few days away!
The National Nursing Assessment Service is excited to be hosting its inaugural annual conference, October 18-19, 2016.
The schedule for the conference on Day 1 will be: 8:45am - 4:45pm and on Day 2 it will be: 8:45am - 4:15pm. Registration on both days will take place starting at 8:15am!
This year’s theme is:
Emerging Canadian Healthcare Trends and its Impact on IEN Nursing Registration.
Internationally educated nurses (IENs) play an important role in Canada’s healthcare system. NNAS’s conference will provide a platform for thought leaders to share their views on emerging issues within the Canadian healthcare landscape, including issues within Canadian healthcare workplaces, that will have an impact on IEN registration. NNAS will also share with delegates the achievements that have been made to-date on the harmonization of the preliminary IEN registration pathway. Some of our expert and thought-provoking speakers, panelists and moderators include Mr. Steven Lewis, Mr. Philippe Massé, Ms. Deanna Williams, Dr. David Benton (NCSBN), Lori Lamont (WRHA) and Nany Lefebre (SE), to name a few.
The conference provides an opportunity to dialogue, network and engage in knowledge exchange and transfer amongst a diverse group of delegates that will comprise Canadian nursing regulatory body leaders and staff, government (federal and provincial), Canadian and international academia, international nursing regulatory bodies, IENs and other partners interested in IEN registration and international nursing.
Register now, and join us for two intensive days full!
