Event description
Join us for an evening of story-telling about the creative ideas that are bubbling up in Hamilton in the midst of the housing crisis.

About this event

We're living in a housing crisis.

Tent encampments crop up all over the city, housing people whose options have run out. Young people can't buy homes. Renovictions enrich the wealthy and leave the poor poorer.

What's a Christian to do? Where's the hope?

Join us for an evening of story-telling about the creative ideas that are bubbling up in the midst of the despair.

We'll re-story housing together, telling stories of...

-the doctoral student who bought a house, and then moved into a low-income apartment building to be closer to her neighbours

-the tiny homes popping up in backyards to make space and community with people who would otherwise be left behind

-the students who couldn't afford housing alone, but could rent as a community

-and more

Couldn't you use a little creative hope for housing?

Doors open at 7, story-telling begins at 7:30.

Masks and proof of double vaccination will be required to keep us all safe.
