Event description

Description

Noises Off is a 1982 play by the English playwright Michael Frayn, directed by Rob Murray and Ron Deans. Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a cast of actors rehearsing a farce called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant sardine all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.

The play begins on dress rehearsal night with the stressed out actors attempting to put on a badly written farce. The relationships and characters introduced in Act I begin to unravel in Act II, which takes place 'backstage' on this fictional set where the actors begin to openly sabotage the performance. Act III is back on the set of the fictional farce, with the unhinged actors trying to get through the show. This show will have the audience laughing from beginning to end.
