Stay active in the fall and winter with this low-impact exercise - perfect for seniors!

About this Event

This outdoor low-impact fitness activity engages over 90% of your body’s muscles and has been proven to reduce stress on the hips and knees while walking. In addition, it has also been proven to reduce stress and improve cardiovascular health. Poles will be provided.

By signing up you are committing to three fun & educational sessions *. The first session is a required introductory clinic, where you will learn how to use your walking poles safely, and will learn about the many benefits of Nordic Pole Walking. The other two sessions you will have fun trying out Nordic Pole Walking!

Dates & Times:

  • November 28th, 1 - 2:30 PM
  • December 19th, 1 - 2:30 PM
  • January 30th , 11 - 12:30 PM

Spaces are limited, so please register if you are committing for the full three days!

* The Session on November 28th, is required to be able to go on the walks on December 19th and January 30th. If you have completed an introductory clinic by Shawn Nisbet in the past, please note so in your registration *
