EnTech Solutions Manure Digester Tour
EnTech Solutions owns and operates a dairy manure to RNG digester in Middleton, WI. Supporting the digester operations is a first of its kind microgrid designed to improve operations and lower the facilities Carbon Intensity (CI) score. The system includes over 2MW of solar (ground mound and rooftop), battery energy storage and DC fast charging.
University of Wisconsin Arlington Research Station - Soil Health and Management Tour
This tour will make stops at research plots focusing on the effects of manure to soil health and productivity. The focal points of the tour will include a runoff study investigating tillage, cover crop, and dairy liquid manure on corn silage. The tour will stop at the Wisconsin Integrated Cropping Systems Trial which originated in 1989 to provide long-term research with various cropping systems.
