Event Details

Join us for three jam-packed days of workshops!

Workshops on October 4 are all concerned with writing music and writing about music. Choose from workshops on songwriting, tune writing, or workshops designed to help you share your research with as wide an audience as possible using wikipedia, podcasts, websites, and social media.

Join our keynote speaker, Anna Birch, on October 5 and 6 to learn how Performance Studies can deepen your appreciation and analysis of traditional music and dance.

All workshops are free, although registration is required. We ask that you commit to attending all day October 5 and 6 if you are interested in the Performance Studies workshop. But feel free to mix and match the workshops on October 4 to suit your interests.
