About this Event

Attention Employers!

The Workforce Week Planning Committee 2020 has an exciting new virtual job fair opportunity to help you find the qualified candidates you need to fill your available job postings!

How does the virtual job fair work?

1) Register as an 'Employer Video Ticket' for your desired time slot over the next 3 weeks. Please note: There are a maximum of 5 employer timeslots available per session, and spaces are first come, first served!

2) Receive a confirmation email with a panelist invitation to join the Zoom Webinar. This email will also include a guide that will help you to develop your 'pitch' to job seekers, as well as familiarize yourself with the technology required. You will be asked to share your contact information with us (to show on-screen following your video), as well as to supply any materials you would like to share on-screen. Finally, a video of a pilot session with local employment service providers will be attached so that you can review and see how these events flow.

3) Join the Zoom Webinar 30 mins in advance of the start-time to perform a technology check.

4) Speak on camera for 10 mins. max about your business/organization's available employment opportunities. You will also have an opportunity to share your screen to show your website, Powerpoint slides, promotional video, etc. if you wish. Following your talk, we will be asking you any relevant questions the job seekers have for you.

5) Participate in a follow-up survey to help us evaluate our event, and to improve it for future employers.
