Event description
Accelerate Okanagan is gathering the North Okanagan community together around a common challenge: Talent.

About this Event

Entrepreneurs can’t build great companies alone. Finding and retaining top talent and skilled knowledge workers continues to be a key issue for business owners not just in the Okanagan but across the country—this challenge is what our participating hackers have sought to solve.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, October 29, 2020, to see the results of the first North Okanagan Talent Hackathon. Each team will present their ideas and our judges will pick a winner. The Hackathon & Pitches will be hosted virtually to maintain COVID-19 health and safety standards.

During this virtual public event, there will be an address from our Keynote Speaker, Adam Smiley Poswolsky and pitches from the participating teams of hackers. After the pitches, a panel of judges will announce which of the teams is named the winner.
