Based on M.L. Stedman’s critically acclaimed novel. A World War I vet and his young bride become the lighthouse keepers on a remote island off Australia. A boat washes up on shore carrying a dead man and a live baby - starting a chain of events which threatens to destroy their lives.

Admission is free. All films are on Mondays in the North York Central Library auditorium starting at 6:00 pm. Informal discussion after film, time permitting.
