Not on My Watch: Avoiding Abductions at Home and Abroad

...with special guest Conroy Kanter, film producer of TRAFFICKED!

This unforgettable event includes a panel of experts discussing local, national and international issues around preventing abduction and trafficking. All proceeds will go to support the BRAVE and TRAFFICKED Education Program, through the Canadian Children's Optimist Foundation, focused on preventing children from being abducted into sex trafficking.

Join us at the Hangar Flight Museum for a community effort to learn about the Human Trafficking risks in our own city and how to keep your family safe here and when travelling abroad. Your ticket will grant you exclusive access to an expert panel, silent auction, book sale, cash bar and hors d'oeuvres. Our panel will share the latest information about human trafficking and provide practical tips on how to avoid abduction. A lively discussion will ensue.

The silent auction will have unique prizes with all proceeds going to support the BRAVE and TRAFFICKED Education Program. Signed books from K.J. Howe (The Freedom Broker and Skyjack) and Dr. Laura Hambley Lovett (Losing Cadence and Finding Sophie) will be available for sale, a portion of the proceeds going to toward trafficking awareness and prevention.

Our special international guest is Conroy Kanter, producer of the TRAFFICKED Film, starring Ashley Judd, Elisabeth Rohm, Sean Patrick Flanery, Madison Wolfe and Patrick Duffy. This feature film, endorsed by the United Nations, shares the story of three young girls from the U.S., Nigeria and India who are trafficked to the same brothel in Texas and their dramatic escape.
