Nova Rupta by Lorenzo Naccarato Trio

Members: Benjamin Naud, drums; Lorenzo Naccarato, piano and composition; Adrien Rodriguez, double bass.

Founded in 2012 at Franco-Italian pianist Lorenzo Naccarato’s initiative, the trio presents a cinematic music inspired from the impressionist and minimalist repertoire (Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie), from current jazz (Robert Glasper, Christian Scott) and from repetitive music (Philip Glass, Steve Reich). Released in March 2016 on the label Laborie Jazz, the first album received an enthusiastic welcome from the public as well as the media (Jazz Magazine, FIP, UKVibe, Observador Portugal, Times of India, etc.). At the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, the trio set on their first international tour (India, China and Ecuador), then released a second album in September 2018. The Lorenzo Naccarato Trio will be touring the Alliance Française network in Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto).

Fondé en 2012 à l’initiative du pianiste franco-italien Lorenzo Naccarato, ce trio propose une musique cinématique s’inspirant à la fois du répertoire impressionniste et minimaliste (Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie), du jazz actuel (Robert Glasper, Christian Scott) et des musiques répétitives (Philip Glass, Steve Reich). Sorti en mars 2016 sur le label Laborie Jazz, son premier album reçoit un accueil enthousiaste tant du public que des médias (Jazz Magazine, FIP, UKVibe, Observador Portugal, Times of India, etc). Le trio réalise fin 2017 et début 2018 ses premières tournées internationales en Inde, en Chine puis en Équateur, et sort son deuxième album en septembre 2018. Le Trio Lorenzo Naccarato sera en tournée dans le réseau des Alliances françaises du Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto).
