Clear the inner clutter from your life with the No/Yes Active Meditation!

Many times we hold back saying NO because we are afraid to hurt others or are afraid to be rejected. We often want to say NO, but say YES instead or we just avoid dealing with the situation. We also hold back many of our emotions like anger. Anger is often regarded negatively, but in truth anger is an important emotion that needs to be felt, expressed and understood. It is impossible to make healthy boundaries if you are continually repressing your anger. All the unexpressed NOs and associated emotions create accumulated blockage inside. This blocked energy creates internal conflict, confusion and heaviness and can result in physical issues. You cannot live your inner truth if you are holding back or hiding parts of how you truly think and feel.

The No/Yes Meditation is a powerful active meditation technique created by Mada Eliza Dalian. It gives a chance for a cathartic release of all the unexpressed NOs that we normally hold in and don’t express. There is much pressure these days to feel and think positive and be happy, but this is very hard to achieve if we have not first let ourselves be authentic about the way we truly feel. Once you have let yourself say NO fully and freely, you will find your YES becomes much more genuine, innocent and joyful.

This meditation is especially helpful for those who want to become more decisive, more able to stand-up for themselves and more clear with making boundaries. It is also very helpful for healing old wounds and forgiving yourself and others.

This class will start with some dialogue and contemplation of the times when we hold back saying NO and the times when we hold back saying YES.

We will then practice the No/Yes meditation together as a group. This active meditation starts with 30 minutes of expressing the word NO out-loud, while moving your body. This is very cathartic. The next stage is sitting silently in meditation for 15 minutes, witnessing your inner landscape, observing all that passes. The final stage is to express the word YES out-loud for 15 minutes while moving your body. This stage can be very powerful for letting your energy expand and opening the heart. The No/Yes meditation is a transformational active meditation and can facilitate a significant shift. Each stage is supported with custom-composed music.
