Activities like removing invasive plants, planting trees, picking up litter from beaches and building trails are just a few such activities. The GVGT is part of the National Charity, Green Teams of Canada (www.greenteamscanada.ca)
During this special week, Volunteer Victoria is offering families, schools, businesses, and individuals in Greater Victoria the opportunity to partake in events throughout the week. Volunteer Victoria's National Volunteer Week is a special effort to celebrate volunteerism and encourage “Volunteerism as a pillar in everyone’s life.”
