Event description

Description

There has been a strong desire of Cursillistas, particularly those who have made their weekend in recent years, to learn more about the method and how to get involved in a program from which they benefitted.

Due to this response, we are excited to invite you to participate in an upcoming dynamic workshop!

Its purpose is to deepen the commitment to Christ of Cursillistas and make the movement an even more effective instrument for the evangelization of environments.

Through worship, music, talks, small group discussions, and fellowship, you can

  • deepen your understanding of what you learned and experienced on your Cursillo weekend

  • share with other Cursillistas what God has been doing in your life since you began your Fourth Day

  • learn more about the Cursillo method and how you can participate in the movement

  • enjoy talks on such topics as ‘How the Fourth Day Fits’, ‘Spiritual Direction’, ‘Deepening our Union with God’, and ‘The Job Ahead’.

This workshop is open to all Cursillistas and will be led by national leaders in the Cursillo community.

Agenda

Friday (6:00 – 9:30 p.m.) Registration, music, introductory talks, prayers

Saturday (8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.) Eucharist, talks, working sessions, music, Ultreya (Prayer & Praise)

Sunday (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon) Worship, talks, discussions

Cost

$40 (at the door) and this includes 1 lunch, 1 dinner, snacks, and printed materials

We are so fortunate to have this workshop in our diocese as it is only held annually in the Canadian diocese hosting the Canadian Anglican Cursillo Secretariat (CACS) meeting. This opportunity may not come to the capital again for another decade, so don’t miss it!

Ultreya!
