Description

OASW Mid-Western Branch Board is having it's Annual General Meeting! Come join us to celebrate Social Work Week 2018, meet your current board members and network with other social workers. In addition to our AGM, we will be focusing on the current landscape of social work private practice in our region! Come for some free food, door prizes and a draw for coverage of your annual OASW membership fee!

Speaker: Anna Gold, MSW, RSW

"From reliance on tools to reliance on self...Why relationship matters more than ever"

Anna Gold, MSW, RSW is the Director of Southern Ontario Counselling Centre, which has been operating in St Agatha, ON. since 1987. In her early career Anna worked in child welfare, while simultaneously establishing her private practice. Later she spent some years managing a university based counselling centre. Anna's passion is working with individuals and couples, using a variety of methodologies which she has found to be powerful over the years. Within the last 10 years Anna has incorporated the work of Harville Hendrix, and IMAGO therapy into her practice, teaching individuals and couples how to communicate more fully and to deepen empathy and connection.
