Are you ready to sweat in THE FOOTE FIELD DOME?
U of A Fitness, River City Fitness and Fitset have teamed up to share Obstacle Fitness with #YEG. Be the FIRST people in Edmonton to set foot in the Gigantic Dome that now surrounds Foote Field @ U of A South Campus. It may be snowing outside but we'll be sweating through a fun, obstacle course training themed workout available to any and all fitness levels.
When: Saturday December 10th, 10am-11am
What: 60 minutes of Obstacle Fitness! This is safe and effective training that that would help prepare for a race! Even if you have never raced (or never intend to) this workout will inspire you to explore even more ways to be active and pursue wellness. We will be using unconventional items to work our muscles, functionally, such as tire fun, partner exercises, crawling, body weight and more.
Who: Any and all Fitness Levels. The workout can be scaled for first timers all the way to high end athletes!
Why: Because you'll get a great workout, have a TON of fun, and there is no better way to spend a Saturday morning!!!
Make sure to bring a water bottle, wear your workout attire and be ready to glisten, smile and get a bit dirty!
Stick around afterwards for prizes, give always and of course stories of the epic workout that everyone just finished.
