Event description

Description

Join us for an informative and engaging afternoon about occupational cancer prevention! The ON-DECK study (ONtario Study of Diesel Exhaust and Cancer of the Kidney) is wrapping up and study scientists will be on hand to talk about the results for the risk of kidney cancer from silica, asbestos, and gasoline and diesel exhaust exposures on the job. We will also have experts from across Canada joining us to speak about exposure reduction strategies, the use of engaged partnerships to inform cancer prevention, and new directions going forward.

Registration is FREE but required. Space is limited! Lunch and refreshments provided for pre-registrants.

This knowledge translation event takes place directly after the Canadian Cancer Research Conference, and is on-site at the same location for those who wish to make a combined day of it.

Sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Labour and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. Agenda below, subject to change.
