About this event

The fight for human rights—a fundamental principle of Humanism—does not stop at our borders. Nor should it limit our efforts to those with differing beliefs.

You are invited to an exclusive opportunity to learn from a United Nations (UN) authority on the issue of human rights in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, Dr. Michael Lynk.

Lynk will recount the Israel/Palestine history, explain terminology surrounding the conflict, and compare the different human rights & living conditions for Palestinians & Israelis. He will discuss his continued work with governments and civil society to foster international cooperation on this crisis, and cover why this topic is relevant for secular humanists.

The event is free to members of OHS, HC, HAO and HAT, while a voluntary, donation option for UNRWA* is available at checkout.
