Description

Prof. Gail Murphy is a Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Vice-President Research and Innovation (R&I) at UBC. She is also a co-founder and Director at Tasktop Technologies Incorporated. In this workshop, she will share lessons learned and key insights from her professional journey that have contributed to her success. In addition, she will touch on examples of jobs within an R&I office at a top tier research institution that require post-grad training.

There will be limited free seating for currently registered UBC Science grad students and postdocs assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to women grad students and postdocs.
