About this Event
Stress, Resilience, and Self-Care: Understanding the effects of stress and developing strategies to enhance well-being. This session will start with an introduction to the physiological and psychological effects of stress. By gaining an understanding of the stress process and how stress impacts the body, participants will increase their self-awareness around their personal sources of stress and how stress impacts them. The session will then cover several stress management (or stress mediation) techniques to help participants increase their resilience and focus on self-care.
This session will be hosted at Humber's North Campus in room NX111.
