Free Information Session & Networking Reception

Interested in working on-set in major film and television production?

The Kingston Film Office will be hosting a free in-depth information session and Q&A with the largest labour unions for the entertainment industry. Meet key industry representatives of IATSE 411, 667, 873 and the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), and learn how to get involved.

The information session will be followed by brief announcements from members of the local community regarding upcoming productions, opportunities and events, and a networking reception.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) is the largest labor union for major film and telefilm production, representing more than 140,000 technicians, artisans and craftspersons in the entertainment industry.

IATSE Local 411 represents production coordinators, honeywagon operators and craftservice providers working in the motion pictures industry. Membership roles include:
• Production Coordinator
• 1st Assistant Production Coordinator
• 2nd Assistant Production Coordinator
• Travel Coordinator
