Join us for an evening with James Scongack, Vice President Corporate Affairs, Bruce Power.

Learn how the refurbishment of Bruce Power will change the workforce landscape in our economic region of Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties and ask your questions.

An Introduction of James Scongack

The Vice President of Corporate Affairs is responsible for government, Aboriginal and community relations, communications, corporate social responsibility, environment and waste management.

Prior to his role in Corporate Affairs, James held the role of Executive Assitant to Bruce Power's President and CEO, while managing various company initiatives including new-build development projects. More recently, James was part of the Bruce Power team which successfully negotiated a long-term commercial framework with the Province of Ontario, extending the life of the facility to 2064.

James sits on the Council of the Great Lakes Region Board as well as the Board of Life Labs, Canada's largest independent provider of laboratory services. He is also a Generator Representative for nuclear on the Independent Electricity System Operator Stakeholder Advisory Committee.

James has a Masters Degree from the University of Guelph College of Management and Economics in Leadership and a BA (Hons). James is also a Chartered Director through the DeGroote Business School Directors College and has completed Project Management certification through York University's Schulich Business School.

James volunteers his time as a member of the Easter Seals Ontario Board, providing support for children with physical disabilities.
