Are you struggling to articulate your impact in a grant, a nomination for an award or with a funder? Attend this session to learn to tell the story of your impact in a way that will attract the investment of the community.

As a participant you will:

  • Understanding the impact of a  great story
  • Identifying the components of successful storytelling
  • Understand how to tell the right story to the right audience
  • Identifying the role of your data in storytelling

Ideal for:

  • Individuals who are raising resource for their organization


  • Date: November 17, 2016
  • Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm 
  • Pricing: Member $50.00 Non-Member $100.00 (If cost is a barrier to attending this workshop, let us know. We have limited bursary options.)
  • Refreshments and light snacks will be provided

Workshop Registration and Cancellation Policies:

As we want to hear from and learn alongside a variety of charities and non-profit organizations there is a maximum of two registrants per organization. If you have more than two colleagues interested in registering for the workshop, consider signing up for a facilitated learning session. Contact Lori DeLuca at (403) 231-1439 or with inquiries.

 To cancel your registration, please notify Lori DeLuca at (403) 231-1439 or  24 hours in advance of the workshop, in which a full refund can be given at that time. Last minute cancellations and no shows will have the option to transfer their registration to another workshop within the same year, otherwise no refund will be given.

CCVO promotes and strengthens the nonprofit and voluntary sector by developing and sharing resources and knowledge, building connections, leading collaborative work, and giving voice to critical issues affecting the sector.

Vecova Centre for Disability Services and Research (Vecova) is a leading-edge, registered non-profit charitable research and service agency that has been meeting the needs of persons with disabilities and the community-at-large since 1969. Affiliated with the University of Calgary, Vecova is recognized as a leader in the field of disability services and research.

Propellus exists to serve non-profit organizations – our members; to help our members achieve their missions. Propellus helps to build their organizations, while they focus on the cause. We arm them with the tools they need to run their organizations, so that they CAN succeed and make a difference.

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Calgary and Area has beeing making a positive difference in the lives of young people through a wide range of one-to-one and group mentoring programs, both in school and in the community, for over 30 years. They currently serve over 2,000 children and youth, and as many volunteers, in Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks, and surrounding areas.
