Event description


Welcome to this year's One World One Family Family History Conference, hosted by the Oshawa Ontario Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We invite you to attend and learn about family history. Workshop topics ranging from DNA Ancestry, Overcoming challenges in searching your family history, UEL, Family Search, Irish Research, Scottish Research, Dutch Research through Canadian Eyes, The Bernardo Children, Cemeteries of Durham Research, Ukranian Research, WWI military and many more. There will be a total of 20 workshops throughout the day.

In addition to the workshops, various presenters and general family history displays will be available for viewing during lunch and breaks.

Ticket price includes a good lunch. You may select workshops you'd like to attend during ticket checkout.

We are pleased to have Cheryl Levy (Taking Root in a New Land) as our keynote speaker

There will be a 10-minute break between workshops and a 1 hour lunch period.

We invite everyone to join us for the Plenary Session Presentation with "Chief R. Donald Maracle" Chief of the Bay of Quinte Mohawks.

Please note: Smoking is not permitted on the conference grounds.
