You are going to learn the Technique of the Impressionism, which strongly emphasizes the effects of light. In this type of painting we use short, thick strokes of paint to capture the essence of the object rather than the subject's details. The brush strokes give the illusion of movement and spontaneity.

ART SUPPLY LIST

* Acrylics - (Have primary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, + Black & White)

*11" x 14" Stretched Canvas (or 8"x10" )

*Brushes: Small, Medium, Large

*Water Cup

*A palette, or Aluminum Foil to mix colors

*Paper Towel or Old Cotton Fabric to clean the brushes
