About our class

• Easy-to-follow online ballet class live on ZOOM and accessible on demand for 7 days.
• The class includes a short warm up and short stretch at the end.
• Students in this level are familiar with the basic positions, steps, terminology and sequence of a ballet class. The class includes a short warm-up and stretch after class. The class is adapted for small spaces at home.

What you need for the class

• Something to hold on to and act as a ballet barre: the back of a chair or a high counter top, anything where you can rest your hand on as if it was a barre.
• For your feet I recommend nice quick socks for the barre to keep your feet warm (ideally not too slippery) or ballet slippers if you have them.
• Place the laptop, tablet or phone at eye level if possible so you can maintain a proper upper body position.
• Water near you might be a good idea.

About Your Teacher

My name is Maria Osende, I am a professional dancer and former ballerina! I started my professional balelt career in my late teens and danced professionally for a decade with the Berlin Ballet and the Compania Nacional de Danza of Spain in Madrid, my hometown. I am also a flamenco dancer and teach flamenco as well.
