Online Meditation Class - Advice for a Happy Life
Sunday 28 March, 2:30 - 4pm
with Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Kunden
“Always keep a smiling face and a loving mind and speak truthfully without malice." ~ Venerable Atisha from Advice from Atisha's Heart
One thousand years ago, the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha was instrumental in reviving pure Buddhism in Tibet. When he was about to return to India, he gave very special advice which, if applied in our life even today, can lead us to pure and everlasting happiness. This ancient wisdom practice, known as Advice from Atisha’s Heart, is a perfect method for keeping a balanced mind when faced with the challenging situations of our hectic modern lives.
This advice is practical advice for daily living. By taking this advice to heart ourselves, we can develop and maintain inner peace, reduce and cease our experiences of problems and suffering, and thereby bring about positive changes in our life.
Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for Sunday meditation classes and engage in meditations and contemplations that will enable us to experience a deep and lasting happiness.
