About this Event

Let us take care of ourselves and those around us with 30 minutes of guided mindfulness meditation with exercises for regulating breath, posture, and stream of thoughts. Our approach brings together the modern, secular mindfulness techniques and research, as well as the perspectives of the ancient contemplative traditions from East and West.

We are taking care of our physical health by washing our hands and keeping social distance, but what are we doing to take care of our mental health. The constant simmering fear and anxiety due to the coronavirus COVID-19 might lead some of us into a downward spiral of an anxiety disorder and even depression.

These sessions are open to everyone: we welcome all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and gender identities and expressions. We respect all spiritual types and sensibilities, from those who simply want to achieve deep relaxation, manage stress, anxiety, and depression, to those who walk the path of spiritual growth. You decide what the meaning of your meditation is.

All levels are welcome. This is a judgment-free, non-competitive environment.

Cost

There is no cost for this event but donations are greatly appreciated. This allows us to offer this program to everyone regardless of their current financial situation.
