Our ONLINE open-group gatherings are an opportunity to connect and to share with others who have experienced similar losses. This peer support group, facilitated by our Program Coordinator, and a trained BFO-SW volunteer, will be a general bereaved mothers' meeting - any mom who has experienced the death of a child from pregnancy to adulthood is welcome, no matter how much time has passed since your child/children have died.

The evening meeting will run from 6:30 - 8:30pm using the ZOOM platform, and registration will be limited to 8 participants. Group guidelines, special considerations, and ZOOM meeting instructions will be provided to registered participants.

If you are new to BFO-SW (i.e. you haven't spoken with our program coordinator or a past staff member and completed a welcome orientation appointment) kindly email: bereaved_families_sw@rogers.com as soon as possible so we can connect with you prior to the meeting. Please note that if there is insufficient time to connect prior to a scheduled meeting, we will contact you to schedule an appointment at a later date so that you can attend the next scheduled support group meeting. NOTE: BFO-SW is supporting King's University College Social Work students who will be learning various aspects of the organization during their time with us. Some groups may be, in part, co-facilitated by students under the direct supervision of our Program Coordinator. Registered participants will be notified ahead of any meeting in which a student will be in attendance.
