Teams & Groups with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods online certification program
This program runs live with your trainer on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for 3 hours per day (9:00 am - 12:00 noon PST) with 24h online learning for 1 week.
You will: Watch, read, build, write, and share during this self-serve and supportive classroom environment that utilizes a blended learning approach.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is an internationally-renowned facilitated process used by organizations to engage participants to generate innovative ideas for organizational improvement. The methodology is based on extensive research and enables people to address complex issues in a fun and engaging way.
Who should attend?
Facilitators, trainers, educators, HR professionals, project managers, coaches, consultants, university professors, teachers, branding professionals, and strategists can be trained to apply this methodology to implement this powerful process in the work they do. Additionally, if you work as a researcher, I.T. professional, executive/life coach, or leader in your organization, your certification in this methodology can bring enormous benefits and is a strong addition to your tool kit of techniques.
Program Overview
Pre-Course with OPEN Enrolment up to one month before your program starts.
This playful and creative program includes 8 hours of pre-course work that is offered up to one month before your live classroom opens with online instruction. Our learner-focused program has been designed to meet the needs of all learning styles.
Pre-Course: (open one week before the course starts)
Our pre-course is a self-serve learning system designed to provide learners time to absorb this powerful method within their own framework for easy learning transfer. In the pre-course, you can set your own pace and work through materials with online support as needed. You will learn how to use the tools and materials along with background theory so you are ready for your live classroom experience. You can test your knowledge with an online quiz to ensure you are ready to meet the next learning challenge.
Day One: Individual Work (Tuesday, Apr 4th, 2023)
The first week focuses on individual development. We will show you how you can apply this method for onboarding, leadership, and personal development, team player development, performance evaluation, and even personal learning plans.
This classroom day will include:

Hands-on building
Individual and group work
One-on-one supervision and training

Day Two: Teams and Group Work (Wednesday, Apr 5th, 2023)
The second week moves participants thorough processes where they explore individual identity and gain insight into how they can customize the tools for any number of workshops or processes, including: team, department, project, product, tech, community, brand, and organizational development.
This classroom day will include:
Live online instruction with your instructor and classmates live in real time
Hands-on building
Individual and group work
One-on-one supervision and training
Self-serve learning
Reflection
Q&A
Day Three: Landscape and Systems Work (Thursday, Apr 6th, 2023)
The third week will provide you with an understanding of how to use the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® identity and landscape materials kit to build 3D models. These models will illustrate the complex environments where entities like teams and projects and other interconnected systems function, and how these environments “play out” in real-time.
This classroom day will include:
Live online instruction with your instructor and classmates live in real time
Hands-on building
Individual and group work
One-on-one supervision and training
Self-serve learning
Reflection
Q&A
Day Four: Design and Deliver (Friday, Apr 7th, 2023)
This area focuses on your unique LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methods design to meet the challenges you face ahead. Using customizable templates, you will design your individual offering and get feedback and support from trainers online. Now it the time to design and deliver your program for winning results. Marketing and sales advice will also be provided to ensure you get the best return on your investment of time and money.

Stephen is a connector and a natural born team builder and problem solver.
He comes from a mechanical and building background with over 10 years experience as a bicycle mechanic. As a designer, he holds certifications as a guitar builder (Luthier) and studio wood furniture making. He is also an accomplished musician.
Stephen is certified and registered as a Strategic Play® facilitator with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology and has been training in LSP since 2010 under one of the original LEGO® Master Trainers. He has level II certification in Simplex Creative Problem Solving and Decision Making, trained directly by Dr. Min Basadur. He holds certificates in Agile Coaching, Project Management, Simplex, Creative Problem Solving, and is a graduate of Royal Roads University with a certificate in Executive Coaching. In 2021, Stephen was nominated by his peers as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A).
Today, he facilitates and trains in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods throughout Canada, USA, Central America, (Panama) and South America (Venezuela), Japan, Austria, and Australia. Occasionally he teaches at Royal Roads University where he acts as a Strategic Mentor in the MBA program: Advanced Strategic Integrated Practice. This is a fast-paced, intensive, problem-based learning program and Stephen is there with LEGO® bricks ready for business analysis.
Stephen credits his creative talents to playing with LEGO® as a child.
