About this Event

Onondaga Version of Creation and Discussion of Clans led by Hode’hnyahä:dye’ Hugh Burnam, Mohawk, Wolf Clan from the Onondaga Nation Ganakdagweniyo’geh.

The Onondaga (Onoñda’gega’ or the People of the Hills) the Keepers of the Central Fire of the Haudenosaunee, understand Creation as a mutual relationship between Mother Earth and all of life through reciprocity and gratitude. Come hear an Onondaga version of the Creation Story and learn some Onondaga language in the teachings!

Open to the public, both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous.
