How to improve feed management to achieve maximum production; Amanda Farrar, Trouw Nutrition Canada

Feed costs are a significant contributor to cost of production. Producers want to feed the best quality feed at the lowest price but yet achieve maximum production. Amanda Farrar, a nutritionist with Trouw Nutrition Canada, will give an overview on ways producers can improve feed efficiencies and keep costs down.

Welfare project overview; Melissa Speirs, Ontario Goat

2017 has been a very busy year completing many goat welfare projects. Melissa will give an overview of the completed projects and how they can help producers on the farm.

Tales from the grave; Jeanette Cooper, University of Guelph

How post-mortems can improve the health of your herd! The University of Guelph has been conducting on-farm investigations of adult small ruminant mortalities and Jeanette will provide an overview of this important research project.
