Description

We are pleased to invite you to register and participate in the Ontario Injury Prevention Forum presented by the Ontario Injury Prevention Resource Centre, Parachute, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This one day conference is being held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the BMO Institute for Learning. The conference title is:

Ontario Injury Prevention Forum - Road Safety in Ontario: Back to the future in 2017.

This year’s conference will focus on emerging road safety issues and trends in the province and beyond. Organized around the three key themes of enforcement, engineering and education, the day’s specific topics include impaired driving, drug recognition, Vision Zero in urban and rural settings, the manufacturing of cars, national distracted driving projects, and injury prevention in the trauma hospital setting.

Invited speakers included representatives from government, media, enforcement, and the trauma hospital community.

The audience for this conference includes public health, government policy makers, injury prevention practitioners, law enforcement and allied health professionals. We anticipate over 100 attendees from across the province.

We look forward to having you join us for a productive day of information sharing and learning.
