About this Event

Join the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO) for our 2020 Ontario Organic Day and Annual General Meeting. We invite OCO members and the general public to participate in a day of informative presentations, discussions, and a delicious local organic tasting experience!

If you wish to attend, but the cost of registration is a barrier, please contact us and we can make accommodations.

Annual General Meeting

Remember, all certified organic operators are automatically members! Come out and make your vote count.

If you are not a certified organic operator, but you are a part of the organic value chain, an individual organic supporter, or an association, you can still have a vote at our AGM as a Supporting Member of OCO. Be sure to renew or join by February 28th in order to participate in online voting, and feel free to contact Dora if you want to check your membership status.

Ontario Organic Day

Morning Policy Forum and Participant Briefing, Toronto Central YMCA

We are planning once again to host several sessions with special speakers to discuss critical issues for the organic sector. This year, we are organizing the Policy Forum around the topic of organic regulation in Ontario. A draft agenda is available on our website here.

Afternoon Meetings with MPPs, Queen's Park

Get behind the most important day for organic in Ontario this year! Ontario Organic Day is the best way for organic advocates to gain exclusive access to Ontario MPPs from your region who are concerned and want to engage with you about the organic sector and the possibilities of provincial regulation. Join us and help promote the priorities of Ontario's organic businesses.

Local Organic Reception

Following meetings with MPPs, join us for an Organic Reception featuring seasonal taste sensations from local beverage and food businesses. The whole day is open to the public, but we especially encourage you to invite your organic-minded friends and guests to attend the local organic tasting experience.

Early Bird Pricing

Take advantage of our Early Bird rates, available until February 26th! Ticket prices will go up by $5 in each category (before taxes and fees) after February 26th. Ticket sales will be available online until March 9th. Tickets will be available at the door, but there will be no Supporting Member rates at the door.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 26th

For any questions about the event or to RSVP, please email us.
