The Ontario Pork Annual General Meeting will take place Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Delta Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre.
This annual event is a meeting of provincial pork producers, the general membership of Ontario Pork. This year's event will focus on external forces affecting Ontario’s pork sector. We have an excellent line up of speakers focusing on economics, swine health, trade and other topics. The business portion of the meeting will include reports from the Board of Directors, management, finance and auditors, as well as the resolution session.

Ontario Pork represents 997 pork producers who market 5.8 million hogs in the province. The organization is engaged in many areas, including research, government representation, environmental issues, consumer education and food quality assurance. Ontario Pork is the first livestock commodity group in the province to set social responsibility benchmarks, demonstrating pork producers’ commitment to sustainable farming. Ontario’s pork industry “farm to fork” generates $3.51 billion in economic output and 18,347 full-time equivalent jobs.
