Ontario Wine Society - London Chapter Presents Angels Gate Winery
Angels Gate Winery has been crafting excellent award-winning wines for more than 10 years. Their wines are distinct and they strive to preserve each varietal's aroma, acidity and structure.
It was founded on a property once owned by the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of Christian Charity in Ontario.
In 1995, the land was converted into a vineyard, the first grapes were planted in 1996, and the winery opened in 2002. Angel’s Gate continues to purchase new vineyards and to date have 180 acres, of which 168 acres are on the Beamsville Bench, producing 35,000 cases annually. There are six Estate vineyards.
