ONTARIO'S AGING

POPULATION

Tuesday, October 1, 2019 | 9:00 am - 2:45 pm

Ontario Investment and Trade Centre - Main Theatre, 35th floor
250 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 2L7

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) is pleased to invite you to Ontario's Aging Population Event!

On October 1, the OCC will host a full-day event to mark National Seniors Day.

In Ontario, individuals aged 65+ are the fastest growing age group. By 2041, it’s anticipated that 25% of the population will be 65 years or older. These demographic shifts necessitate attention given the impact an aging population will have on our health care system, future investments in long-term and community care, and the labour market.

The day will showcase industry leaders, innovative solutions, and how government can work with the business community to address the issues and opportunities inherent in an aging population. Speakers will be announced soon.

Join us on October 1 as we celebrate the contributions of Canada’s aging population and explore the challenges and opportunities arising from this demographic shift!
