Event description
Share your art & your journey as you create your works in an open workspace.

About this event

Join us on the first Thursday of every month for an evening of creativity and exploration of your border crossing stories. The event is an open networking and workspace. Bring art pieces you are working on, half written scripts or poems and join others in a welcoming, supportive and safe virtual workspace.

Join a community of like-minded individuals and artists, like yourself, during an evening of creativity. This community will help keep you accountable, bounce ideas off one another for feedback, share your border crossing stories and the stories behind your works.

Facilitated by the Art Gallery of Mississauga’s border crossings Project, the group will follow this event structure:

- 30 minutes group time to introduce yourselves, get acquainted and settle in

- 1 hour of individual work time (while all remaining in the zoom room)

- 30 minutes in the end for any discussion that naturally unfolds

Participants are free to work on any projects that they choose.

This space is designed to be a community group that supports each other as we work towards our individual goals.

Kindly note: This session is NOT recorded.

This workshop is a part of the border crossings project presented by the Art Gallery of Mississauga. It is generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Mississauga.

KINDLY NOTE: You will receive the ZOOM link 1 hour before the workshop begins. Please check your JUNK/SPAM folder if you do not receive it.
