Join Chef Claire Gallant as she takes you inside the Kitchens of some of our most loved shops and resturants in the North End of Halifax. This tour spans two historic Halifax neighbourhoods, and takes in four Kitchens. Get tips from professionals to use at home and gain insight into the resturant scene. You'll taste offerings from each of the kitchens and enjoy discussions about the art of pizza, meat curing and sustainable farming practices, the intracisies of vegan cooking as well as fine dining on local ingredients. Take home copies of our favourite recipes and be inspired to add local flavor to your own home cooking. There's plenty of history in these two neighbourhoods, enjoy it from the perspective of those who live and work here! Please note, there is a bit of (flat) walk involved between the two neighbourhoods about (10-15 min) periods of standing, as well as some stairs down to a basement level Kitchen. Please arrive dressed for walking in the Nova Scotian weather and in Non slip comfortable footwear. This tour finishes at about 330pm at the Agricola Street Brasserie. Just in time for Happy Hour!
