Event Information
About this Event
NOTE: Griffin Art Projects has been closely monitoring health guidelines issued by the local BC health authorities and have made the difficult decision to cancel all public in-person visits to the residency studios. We have therefore decided to transition Sunday's studio visits online. Details and a meeting link will be sent to you upon registration.
For the month of February 2021, master printer Jillian Ross will be assembling Refugees, a culminating diptych from William Kentridge’s Triumphs and Laments Woodcuts series, in Griffin’s residency studio. Interested in viewing the work assembled? We have a limited number of spots available for physical studio visits on Sunday February 21st from 1 - 5 PM. Pre-registration required, maximum 4 persons per visit. These visits are dependent on current COVID-19 safety protocols.
This program is offered in conjunction with Griffin’s upcoming exhibition William Kentridge: The Colander, curated by Lisa Baldissera, May 22 to Sept 4, 2021
Ross will be offering a more in-depth talk live over Zoom on Saturday February 20th, 2021. Registration for the virtual talk is available here:
