A global community to design solutions for big challenges
Join us on December 4th to kick off the OpenIDEO's Toronto Chapter. As our first official event of the chapter, and last event of the year, our goal is to get everyone up to speed with our goals for the chapter, an intro on design thinking, and walk through what it's like to take part in an OpenIDEO challenge using a previous challenge as an example of problem-solving using design thinking. This will get us ready to start working on a new challenge in the new year. where you will learn and practice using design thinking in a real life scenario, and find out how to become part of the Toronto Chapter.
What is OpenIDEO?
OpenIDEO is a global community working together to design solutions for the world’s biggest challenges. Every month, OpenIDEO selects a social challenge for its global network of participants to tackle in a 10-week process using design thinking. At the end of the process, a winning solution is chosen and implemented under a Creative Commons license.
(Schedule to be shared soon)
While we do not charge for the event itself, we kindly ask you to donate $5 in order to help to secure the supplies and venue required to hold the event. Thank you very much.
