About this event
The afternoon's program will reflect the cultural diversity of Ottawa's Black community and will
include: the presentation of the Proclamation of Black History Month 2023 bythe Mayor of
Ottawa; unveiling of Canada Post stamps commemorating Canada's Black History; and the presentation
of the 2023 Black History Ottawa Community Builder awards. We expect attendance at this event to be
about 200 people.
