Event description

Description

Join us at Calgary's 15th annual Opening Doors Conference in celebration of National Housing Day!

WHAT'S THE CONFERENCE ABOUT?

The Opening Doors Conference is the one event in Calgary that brings together all professions in the affordable housing sector as well as related stakeholders from across Alberta and beyond to discuss new and emerging trends and topics to further not only the success of individual organizations but the sector as a whole.

The day consists of morning and lunch keynote speakers; breakout sessions offering topics relevant to a variety of roles in the sector from leaders, managers to front-line staff; a trade show where you can network with multiple agencies and support groups; a government panel with representatives from all three levels of government; and delicious food including a plated lunch service.

WHY SIGN UP?

You care about the people who need to access affordable housing or housing affordability. You care about staying current in your sector. You care about best practices and up to date research. You care about collaborating with colleagues in your sector. You want to network and meet dedicated housing professionals.

This is Calgary's only conference that leverages National Housing Day in an effort to advance the delivery of affordable housing. Given that many attendees come from non-profit and government organizations, we intentionally keep costs as affordable as possible.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Leaders, managers and front-line staff of various non-profit and government housing organizations.

  • Representative of agencies supporting people in affordable housing.

  • Anyone with an interest in learning more about this subject area or anyone who would like to network with the dedicated professionals working within it.
