Opening Doors -Social Café

A Public Education & Community Building Initiative
The Café will provide a space for art-making and community dialogue as participants engage in relevant and constructive discussions around mental health, diversity and discrimination.
Our first Café will discuss Inclusion, addressing its complexities, limitations and possibilities. Participants will collaborate on the painting of sneakers, which will subsequently be exhibited at various locations in Toronto to promote the creation of inclusive spaces.
Snacks, sneakers and art supplies will be provided.
All are welcome, particularly traditionally marginalized populations, service users of mental health services, women, LGTBQ identified individuals, youth, seniors, single parents, immigrants, refugees, racialized and indigenous communities, people with disabilities, artists, activists, students, etc.
