Salopek Webinar: Optimizing Employee Wellbeing
As people come back together to the workplace, expectations of employees have changed. Many employees have transformed their definition of success and are now more focused on work-life balance, mental health, and meaningful work. It is important that employers change and adapt to make certain they are addressing the changing needs of employees. For employers, supporting their workforce post-pandemic and ensuring employee engagement and health & wellness are top priorities is critical for success. This session will be an interactive discussion on what employers can do to proactively work to support strong employee engagement and wellness within their teams. Focus will be given to the five dimensions of well being: community, career, health, social, and financial and how leaders can focus on these factors to create an environment where employees feel that their physical, mental, and emotional fitness are important and supported.

Janyce Rideout, MBA – Human Resources Business Partner at Salopek & Associates
Janyce is a driven and dynamic leader, skilled in human resources, operations, marketing, communications, and planning. She has extensive experience with strategic planning, training and development, recruitment, onboarding, Occupational Health and Safety, as well as internal communications. Janyce has over 18 years of business experience in the hospitality industry, as well as experience in the education and non-profit sectors. Janyce has spent the past 4 years in an HR Management role after honing her craft as a successful business leader within the hospitality sector. Janyce has proven success in building high performing teams and fostering strong relationships. Janyce holds her MBA, obtained from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
