In the ever-changing threat landscape, C|TIA is an essential program for those who deal with cyber threats on a daily basis.

The CTIA course has been designed and developed in collaboration with cybersecurity and threat intelligence experts across the globe to help organizations identify and mitigate business risks by converting unknown internal and external threats into known threats.

It is a comprehensive, specialist-level program that teaches a structured approach for building effective threat intelligence and is compliant to government and industry published frameworks.

The course is delivered in a compressed three-day in-classroom format and prepares participants to challenge the Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst Certification exam by EC-Council. EC-Council is a world leader in cybersecurity and this credential is an industry-recognized certification.

C|TIA maps 100 percent to the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) in the category Analyze and specialty area Threat/Warning Analyst (TWA), as well as the CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Manager (CC TIM).

Dr. Ali Dehghantanha

Dr. Ali Dehghantanha has served for more than a decade in a variety of industrial and academic positions with leading players in Cyber-Security and Artificial Intelligence. Ali is currently director of the Cyber Science Lab ( in the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The Cyber Science Lab (CSL) is a research lab focused on advancing knowledge and practice in security and privacy of machine learning systems to build trustable ML agents for a variety of threat hunting, threat attribution and digital forensics tasks. Dr. Dehghantanha is eminently qualified in the field of cyber security; he has an EU Marie Curie fellowship in cyber forensics, PhD in Security in Computing and he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Manger (CISM), and a Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP). Dr. Dehghantanha is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a senior member of IEEE.

Dr. Dehghantanha has served as an invited speaker in many security conferences namely the International Conference on Information Security and Digital Forensics (ISDF2015), International Conference on Information Security and Cyber Forensics (InfoSec2015), Cyber Security Nexus (CSX2016), European Intellectual Property Prosecutors Network (EIPPN) Workshop 2016, and International Workshop on Applications and Techniques in Cyber Security (ATCS2017). He has served as a guest editor for many special issues in reputable cyber security journals. He served as a guest editor for a special issue on Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analytics in Elsevier journal of Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS), on Sustainable Cyber Forensics and Threat Intelligence in IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Computing, on Internet of Things: Security and Forensics Trends and Challenges in Elsevier Journal of Future Generation Computer Systems. Since 2016, he is chairing the annual International Workshop of Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analytics which runs every January in Hawaii – USA.

The CTIA workshop is presented in partnership with EC-Council.
